Aggiornamento filmware Roland TD-8.

Ho visto che ? disponibile un file che aggiorna il software della centralina con alcuni file midi. Qualcuno sa di preciso in cosa consiste l'aggiornamento?

Ho chiesto al supporto tecnico dei sito inglese della Roland. Celeri e cortesi (con tutto l'applomb anglosassone ke li spetta) mi hanno dato una risposta molto completa. La riporto qui di seguito se qualcuno (un giorno) fosse interessato.

Below is the list of system changes and updates for version 1.10 for TD-8 module.

Your unit should be factory initialised after the update, so please back up any user data before installing.

The following have been improved.

Trigger type supporting new PAD (CY-15R/14C/12H/12R/6,PD-6) increased.
Also, based on this, adjustment was made to each of the following points.
Refer to "Regarding Changes in V-Cymbals Compatibility" attached for details.
Modified trigger banks 1 and 4.
Changed PD7 of 8/9/10/12 to CY1 (bank 1).
Changed PD7/PD9 of 7/8/9/10/12 to CY2 (bank 4).
Changed trigger parameter of each trigger type.
Changed tone allocation of drum kit.
Changed choke determination time of pad from 16ms to 48ms.
Since there are cases when the bell is on for more than 16ms when hitting CY-12R bells, choke occurs instead of a bell shot.
Changed so that no gain is applied to rim shot level when trigger type is CY1/CY2.
Changed the 3rd byte of MIDI Inquiry Reply's Software Revision Level from 00 to 01.
Changed so that RIM of trigger type "SNR" can be used.
Changed so that GM mode turns off when the power is turned off.
Changed so that all parameters except for Crosstalk change in conjunction with trigger type modification.
Changed so that Closed Hi-Hat sounds when pressing [PREVIEW] while stepping on the HH Pedal.
Changed so that click setting is memorized.
OFF added to the Pad Pattern category.
Changed so that DEMO mode can be exited with [KIT], [PATTERN] and [SONG].
Changed so that [PATTERN] and [SONG] light up in KIT mode.

* The following bugs have been cured.

[CLICK] - [RIM] is not effective when trying to enter the version screen in a "Backup NG!" situation.
Note chase not available when Note Off comes on right after Note On.
On the Perc Set selection screen, [SHIFT] + [DEC] is not effective at PerSet=10 or below.
Count functions improperly when click beat changes
Data remains even after conducting Factory Reset "ALL PATTERNS."
When PadPtn Velo is on, all notes are played in the same veliocity.
The range of real time erasing is incorrect when pressing more than 3 keys and then releasing them.
