As one of the millions of Americans whose families and friends are affected by cancer each year, Randy Van Patten decided not to take things lying down! He knew he had to do something... but what can a world-renowned drummer do?

What began as a lighthearted comment to his wife -- a joke about a "drum solo for cancer" -- swiftly became a possibility... then a probability... then a hair-raising 12-hour reality!! Now, Randy's working with talented companies and people from around the country to bring this noble cause to life -- and he's inviting YOU to join in!

On November 6th, 2010 - Randy Van Patten - Founder of Vanz Drumming, with support from DrummerConnection.com, Cyclone Drums, Evans, Sabian Cymbals, ddrum and many other sponsors, will host the 12 Hours of Drumming. Randy himself will be drumming for 12 consecutive hours, streaming it Live to the world in support of Drummin' for Cancer.

The 1st Annual 12 Hours of Drumming will be held at All Pro Percussion, in the Brandon Crossing Shopping Center, November 6th from 9am to 9pm. Guest drummers, Prizes and Drum giveaways from top manufacturers throughout the 12 hours.

In scozia ogni anno il gruppo di scherma in cui ho militato mentre ero li organizza lo swordathon. 24 ore continuate di combattimenti con sempre almeno una coppia a menarsi e il risultato devoluto in beneficenza.
All'estero, specialmente nord europa, cose del genere si organizzano molto spesso.
